Hooray! Today is the day! Below is my summer workshop schedule for this year. I love, love, love teaching these workshops. Thank you to all the kids and parents who have participated in past years. I can’t wait to see how this year shapes up. As you can see, I’m not teaching as much as I usually do–but I’m happy to be teaching at least a little. KIDS PAINT: These classes are designed for kids who have expressed an interest in art and art history. They should be able to sit still and focus on painting/drawing.
Interested young artists will join me in my studio for two days (1.5 hours each time) of art exploration: learning about color, line, shape and texture. Our time in the studio will give each budding artist the chance to create at least four art projects. This year, we will be focusing our study on faces and portraits.

PAINT-ALONG: Have you ever wanted to give painting a try, but didn’t want to invest in a whole set of classes? Do you think you have a hidden talent for making art? Maybe you liked to paint when you were a kid but haven’t tried since?
Well, I have the perfect class for you. Join me at my house for a Paint-Along where I will take you step by step through a painting. At the end of the class you will have your own masterpiece to take home with you. I provide all the materials–you just get to show up and have fun.
